Myrna Loy and Warner Baxter are elegant on this card for the film which was publicized as "the comedy successor to IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT". Director Capra and writer Robert Riskin joined forces once more. This involved a runaway heiress as well, who is involved with her brother-in-law who devotes his life to racing horses, including the one he owns named Broadway Bill. This is perhaps the finest film in the Bulldog Drummond series and features an intelligent script by Nunnally Johnson and Henry Lehrman. Drummond (Colman) keeps coming across dead bodies, but they disappear before the police arrive. He first encounters a dead body when, during a great London fog, he wanders into what he believes to be the deserted mansion of Prince Achmed (Warner Oland), seen in this card with Colman...

Suspensful B-film in which Drummond and his girlfriend want to marry, but the house they are to live in has hidden treasures and so the wedding is postponed. Atmospheric sets added to the suspense of this entry into the long line of films featuring this detective. Paper-backed, originally twice folded with minor wear, now displays beautifully, NEAR FINE.
