The star-studded premiere of the now classic Queen Christina at Hollywood’s Chinese Theatre was attended by MGM and Hollywood’s elite. All but the film’s star, Greta Garbo, seemed to be in attendance. Jean Harlow attended with husband and MGM cinematographer Hal Rosson. Rosson photographed Harlow’s finest films including Dinner at 8 and Bombshell and would gain film immortality with The Wizard of Oz. The Harlow-Rosson marriage was short-lived, with the couple together for a mere seven months.
