Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly is an iconic movie characterization. With her trendsetting little black dress, sunglasses and cigarette holder, her “party girl” interpretation is a bit cleaned-up from the Holly of Truman Capote’s novella and as insecure as Hepburn was about playing the role, critics praised her and she earned an Academy Award nomination.
