LIZABETH SCOTT (1947) Moody portrait

$200.00

[Los Angeles]: Paramount Pictures, 1947. Vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm.) black-and-white glossy silver gelatin photo. There are two holes punched near the mid left side margin (suggesting that this may be a keybook photo). Minor crease at the bottom right margin, near fine.

After understudying Tallulah Bankhead on Broadway in The Skin of Our Teeth, Lizabeth Scott made her film debut in 1945, and within two years was one of the true go-to queens of the genre now known as film noir. A favorite of producer Hal Wallis, she appeared in two noir classics: Desert Fury and I Walk Alone in 1947.

Photo is coded P2935-240.
