MGM spiced up its musicals by including the country’s top pop bands of the time. Spike Jones’ comedy and music were a highlight of this musical which starred Lucille Ball, Dick Powell, June Allyson and Virginia O’Brien. Their highlight, as described on verso, was a take-off on Mussolini. The images show Spike and gang in their skit costumes as well as in their formal wear.
