Faulkner’s fifth and final collaboration with director Howard Hawks was this epic set in ancient Egypt. On all of his previous outings with Hawks, in the 30s and 40s, the studio publicity department showed little interest in Faulkner, but, on this film, they belatedly recognized his importance, and this very ephemeral booklet (OCLC records no known copy) lavishes substantial text on Faulkner. 200.00
